## What is Celeris?

[Celeris](https://celeris.exchange/) aims to build an ecosystem-driven Perp DEX around the vibrant Monad culture. It fosters a friendly and distinctive environment through interactive features designed to make the DEX experience engaging and enjoyable for traders, degens, and newcomers alike.

Our vision is to be able to support any financial need a person may have. Celeris currently supports on-chain order book trading (spot, perpetuals, futures), earning via staking and liquidity pools.

The Celeris trading engine is designed to resist MEV. Trades are matched fairly based on time priority through a single clearing price, ensuring equal treatment for all participants.

Every transaction on Celeris is executed on-chain and is final. Anyone can list tokens or create new markets permissionlessly, embracing the full ethos of decentralized finance.
